Pole Lantern NORLYS London 4012WH white E27 56 cm

Name: Pole Lantern NORLYS London 4012WH white E27 56 cm
Brand: NORLYS

London 4012WH is a classic English-style post-top lantern: a four-sided glazed body with a pyramid-shaped roof and a finial on top, above a profiled sleeve with a cross-bar. The body is cast aluminium powder-coated white (RAL 9003), and the panes are clear, UV-stabilised polycarbonate. The pole is sold separately.Dimensions, mounting and wiringAccording to the manufacturer's drawing the lantern is 56 cm high and 30 cm wide. Add that height to the height of the pole – it decides at what level the lamp sits and how far the light reaches. The lantern slips onto a lighting pole ending in a ø50 mm spigot and is fixed as described in the supplied instructions; any other accessories are bought separately. An H03VV-F 3G0.75 cable, 2.4 m long, leaves the lantern and is connected to the installation inside the pole, in a suitably chosen junction box. The luminaire is protection class II and runs on 220–240 V.Which light source and how much lightInside is an E27 lampholder for an LED lamp of up to 11 W, which the user replaces without a service visit. The lamp is not included, so you choose colour and brightness when you buy it: an LED lamp of about 800 lm is as bright as an old 60 W bulb, and 2700–3000 K is a warm light that suits a classic lantern. The panes are clear, so the lamp is visible through them and its shape becomes part of the lantern's look. Only 1% of the flux goes upwards (ULOR 1%).Durability and intended useIP54 protection means the lantern is protected against dust and splashing water from any direction, so it can stand outdoors without cover. IK07 impact resistance means it withstands an impact of 2 J, and it operates from −20 to +45 °C. If the panes are ever damaged, the glazing is available as service kit 0904800051.Norlys intends this lantern for gardens, parks and architectural projects – beside a path, on a driveway, in front of a hotel or a restaurant. The square lantern with roof and finial follows the classic English street lantern, and on order it is also made in another colour from the RAL range.Show more
