Bollard Light NORLYS London 484BL black lantern E27 47 cm

Name: Bollard Light NORLYS London 484BL black lantern E27 47 cm
Brand: NORLYS

London 484BL is a low 47 cm garden lantern: a four-sided lantern that tapers towards the bottom, with a pyramid roof, set on a shaped stem and a square base. The body is cast aluminium, powder-coated black (RAL 9005), and the panes are clear UV-stabilised polycarbonate. Norlys describes the design as classic.Dimensions and where it goesThe luminaire is 47 cm high and takes up a 20 × 20 cm square – a figure to compare with the top of the gate pillar, wall or platform it will stand on. Norlys intends it for mounting on the ground, a low wall, a platform or another structure. It weighs 1.75 kg; in its 38.6 × 21 × 21 cm carton it weighs 2.21 kg gross. The base is fixed through two ø5.5 mm holes 90 mm apart. The concreting anchor 307ZX0009 is sold separately. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm² and allow loop-through wiring, so several lanterns can run from one supply line, and the EPDM gland seals a round cable of 7–10.5 mm diameter.Light sourceThe lantern holds one E27 lampholder for an A55–A60 LED bulb of up to 9 W. The bulb is not included and you change it yourself, without a service call. On request Norlys supplies the luminaire with a Philips Master LEDbulb 806 lm / 8.5 W / 2700 K: the brightness of an old 60 W bulb in a warm, yellowish white. That lamp is dimmable; with any other bulb, dimming depends on the bulb and the dimmer. The panes are clear and the light is unshielded, so the bulb is visible through the lantern and its shape is part of the look.Durability, spare parts and useThe luminaire is protection class II, so it needs no protective earth. IP54 means protection against dust and against water splashed from any direction, and IK07 a housing that withstands moderate impacts. It works at ambient temperatures from −20 to +45 °C, and the lantern glazing is available as service kit 0904800051, so cracked panes are replaced without buying a new luminaire.Norlys intends it for gardens and terraces: on the wall by an entrance, on a terrace platform or in front of a hotel or restaurant. The London series also offers the same lantern in white (484WH) and as a taller 120 cm bollard (485).Show more
