Norlys NAMSOS 1930 outdoor recessed wall light, graphite RAL 7016, LED 3000 K

Name: Norlys NAMSOS 1930 outdoor recessed wall light, graphite RAL 7016, LED 3000 K
Brand: NORLYS

Norlys NAMSOS 1930GR is a recessed wall light with a square face and a deeply set light opening. Its graphite RAL 7016 finish and horizontal divisions across the lower face give it a geometric appearance. The body is powder-coated cast aluminium, with a satin-finished safety-glass light cover.Light directed towards steps and walkwaysThe fitting distributes diffuse light downwards. Norlys specifies it for stairs, individual steps, staircases and circulation routes, making it a choice where illumination is needed below the fitting rather than evenly in every direction. It can be integrated into outdoor walls and masonry boundary walls. IP65 provides protection against dust and water jets; it does not mean that the light is suitable for immersion. The built-in LED module produces warm white light at 3000 K. The complete luminaire delivers 566 lm, which should not be confused with the output of the LED source alone. When planning several fittings, use the photometric data rather than judging coverage solely from the 8.3 W power consumption. The plain frame and graphite finish suit modern and modernist architecture where a geometric wall inset is preferable to an ornamental wall lamp.Plan the recess before choosing the fittingThe face measures 22 × 22 cm and the fitting is 12 cm deep. The manufacturer specifies a 215 × 215 × 115 mm opening for a recessed wall installation, or 200 × 200 × 95 mm for a layered wall. This is not a surface-mounted fitting that simply screws onto a finished wall. Compare the relevant installation method, wall construction and space behind the cladding with the installation instructions. The face dimensions are not the same as the required opening dimensions.Dimming and professional servicingThe light operates on 220–240 V and has electrical protection class I. Its LED module and electronic power supply are part of the construction. Phase dimming supports both trailing-edge and leading-edge control. A qualified installer should connect the fitting and select compatible control equipment. The LED source and control gear are replaceable by a professional service, rather than being an ordinary bulb intended for the owner to change.Show more
