Name: NORLYS Narvik II 553AL LED bollard light 13.6 W 3000 K, clear diffuser, light grey RAL 9006, 95 cm
Brand: NORLYS

NORLYS Narvik II 553AL is a 95 cm LED bollard with a domed cap over a clear diffuser. The body is cast aluminium, powder-coated in light grey RAL 9006, and an inspection door in the shaft gives access to the terminals and the driver. How much light it gives and where it goesThe luminaire has an integrated LED module at 3000 K, a warm white that makes paths and facades look calmer than neutral light. It emits 853 lm at 13.6 W. The module itself produces 1940 lm, but the cap and diffuser hold back and direct part of it — 853 lm is the figure to compare with other bollards.Light leaves on four sides and is screened from above, so it falls mainly on the ground and the area around the bollard. The manufacturer states a ULOR of 9% — the share of the flux that goes above the horizontal. The diffuser is clear and does not scatter the light. The luminaire can be dimmed with a phase-cut dimmer, either trailing edge (TE) or leading edge (LE).Where to place itThe manufacturer intends Narvik II for private grounds and public areas: the bollard suits a garden path, a terrace, a driveway, a park, a residential street and the entrance of a hotel or restaurant. The base takes up 24 × 24 cm — compare this with the width of the walkway so the bollard does not narrow it.IP65 means the housing is dust-tight and protected against water jets, so the luminaire stands outdoors without a roof. The luminaire is protection class II, so it needs no protective earth conductor.Installation and serviceThe bollard is bolted down through six oval 10 × 15 mm holes spaced at 60° on a 172 mm diameter circle. The ground anchor, the concrete foundation adapter and the mounting adapters are sold separately, so choose them for your base before installation. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 4 mm² and allow the supply to be looped on to the next bollard. Connection is done by an electrician. The LED module and driver are not potted in: the manufacturer provides for their replacement by a professional service and offers the ZS553zx0010 service kit. The module keeps 90% of its flux for more than 52,600 hours. The luminaire weighs 10.84 kg net.Show more
