Outdoor Ceiling Light NORLYS Sandvik 796WH white LED GU10 3.9 W 2700 K

Name: Outdoor Ceiling Light NORLYS Sandvik 796WH white LED GU10 3.9 W 2700 K
Brand: NORLYS

Sandvik 796WH is a NORLYS outdoor ceiling light shaped as a square box with an 8 × 8 cm base and a height of 14 cm. The body is cast aluminium powder-coated white (RAL 9003), closed underneath by satin safety glass. An LED GU10 lamp is included, so the light works as soon as it is connected. What light it gives The source is a Philips MASTER LED ExpertColor GU10 lamp rated at 3.9 W: it produces about 265 lm, and the complete fitting delivers 210 lm. That is enough to light an entrance, steps or part of a canopy, not to light up a whole yard. 2700 K is a warm, slightly yellow light like an ordinary bulb, and CRI 90 keeps the colours of the façade, timber and plants natural. Light leaves only downwards, in a 25° beam. Mounted 2.5 m up, this gives a distinct pool about 1.1 m across below the fitting, and ULOR 0 % with BUG rating B0-U0-G0 means nothing shines upwards or sideways. The fitting can be dimmed with a phase dimmer, either trailing-edge or leading-edge. Installation and wiring The light is screwed to the ceiling through two ø4.5 mm holes spaced 68 × 68 mm. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and up to 3 × 1.5 mm² for loop-through wiring, so several fittings under one canopy can run from a single supply line. The cable should have a round sheath of 7–10.5 mm diameter. Protection class I means the earth conductor must be connected; installation is a job for an electrician. Durability and service IP54 protects the fitting against dust and splashing water from any direction, and IK08 against the knocks that happen on a terrace or in a gazebo. It weighs 0.65 kg and works from −20 to +45 °C. A silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland keep moisture out. The end user can replace the GU10 lamp; the manufacturer quotes an L70 life above 40,000 h and supplies the LED GU10 lamp (46102507) and the diffuser (service kit 06790005) as spare parts. Norlys designed Sandvik for private grounds and public areas and describes its design as classic.Show more
