Rendl OTIS 50 white ceiling light with double fabric shade, 3×E27, R12490

Name: Rendl OTIS 50 white ceiling light with double fabric shade, 3×E27, R12490
Brand: Rendl light studio

Rendl OTIS 50 R12490 is a ceiling light with two round fabric shades, both white. The smaller inner circle remains visible from below, giving the fitting a layered profile without pendant arms or exposed bulbs. This 50 cm version takes three replaceable E27 LED lamps rather than using a fixed LED module.Allow for the diameter and projectionThe fitting measures 17 cm high. Its diameter determines the space it occupies across the ceiling, while the height tells you how far it projects into the room. Check both measurements against the proposed position, particularly where nearby fittings or doors restrict the available space. There is no hanging cable length to set on this ceiling-mounted design. The installation drawing shows a ceiling mounting bar and a connection to a 230 V AC supply. A qualified installer should carry out the work with the power disconnected. A protective earth connection is required. The manufacturer also warns that the shade can be damaged during handling, so its uncomplicated shape should not be taken as permission to handle it roughly.Choose the light sources separatelyEach of the three E27 holders accepts an LED lamp rated at no more than 15 W. This is the maximum for each bulb, not a fixed consumption figure for the complete fitting. Bulbs are not included. Their output and colour temperature determine the resulting illumination; the warm appearance in a photograph does not establish a built-in light colour.Rendl specifies dimming with a suitable light source. For adjustable brightness, choose dimmable LED lamps and controls that are compatible with them. The E27 base alone does not mean that every lamp fitted will be dimmable.A white textile feature for ceiling lightingThe undecorated cylinders suit modern and minimalist interiors. OTIS can serve as ceiling lighting in living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas and hallways, as well as hotel rooms or restaurant interiors. Plan brightness around the room and the selected bulbs: three holders do not by themselves establish that one fitting will provide all the light needed.Show more
