KICK I is a recessed orientation light with a round white face 5 cm across. It throws light to one side only, through the crescent opening at the bottom edge of the face, so the beam lands on the surface below the fitting. Rendl builds it for installation in a wall. The light it gives The LED is built in permanently. There is no socket and no bulb to buy, but the source cannot be replaced either — once it is spent, the whole fitting is replaced. Rendl rates it at 50,000 hours. The fitting puts out 100 lumens at 3000 K, a warm white with a slightly yellow cast. That is marker-light output: enough to pick out a step, a threshold or the edge of a path after dark, and not enough to light a room or a terrace.
