Sigma Artis 2 40526: a white two-light pendant with a linear profileArtis 2 40526 is built around a distinctly horizontal composition. Two low, rounded shades sit at opposite ends of a straight slender bar, while a central cylindrical element connects the bar to the suspension. White painted surfaces give the structure a light, orderly appearance. The design is restrained without becoming anonymous: broad shades, a fine horizontal line and the balanced position of the two light points establish its individual character. Above a long dining table, kitchen island or counter, this outline follows the direction of the furniture rather than concentrating attention on one central spot.In the photographs of the illuminated pendant, both shades remain open underneath and direct light chiefly onto the surface below.
