ARGON HAMILTON 8539 Table Lamp with Smoked Glass, Grey Shade and Brass

Name: ARGON HAMILTON 8539 Table Lamp with Smoked Glass, Grey Shade and Brass
Brand: ARGON

ARGON HAMILTON 8539 is a table lamp built around a spherical smoked-glass base with pronounced vertical ribs. A grey satin shade sits above it, linked by brushed-brass fittings. The shade has a gold-coloured interior: this is a detail of the finish, not a specification for the colour of light the lamp will produce.Allow space for the shade, not just the baseThe lamp measures 54 cm high and 30 cm across in both width and depth. When considering a side table, chest of drawers or bedside cabinet, compare the available surface with the outline of the entire shade. Its lower edge is the widest part, while the top narrows slightly.Check the clearance beneath any shelf above the intended position as well. This is a freestanding table lamp rather than a hanging fitting. The ribbed glass sphere remains part of its appearance with the lamp switched off, but the size of the base alone does not describe the space required by the complete lamp.Choose a separate E27 LED bulbThere is one light-source position. The manufacturer's instructions specify an E27 LED bulb rated at no more than 15 W. A bulb is not supplied, so it must be selected separately. Its brightness and colour temperature determine the light; neither the grey fabric nor the gold-coloured lining establishes those properties. The lamp operates at 230 V. ARGON specifies a black cable with a cotton braid and a black switch. Consider access to the power supply and the cable route when deciding where to place it, alongside the space needed for other objects on the same surface.A classic silhouette with smoked glassThe globe-and-shade composition follows the familiar form of a classic table lamp. Ribbed smoked glass and brushed brass give it a contemporary interpretation suited to modern-classic and glamour schemes. HAMILTON 8539 can serve as an additional light in a living room, bedroom or study. Grey textiles and warm metal details provide specific points of connection with surrounding furnishings.Show more
