TEKKNI HELSE is a ready-made kit for building a three-metre line of light: a black aluminium profile, a milky S14 cover, end caps and mounting brackets in one box. Instead of assembling four separate items, you get parts that are certain to fit each other. What is in the kit The manufacturer states the contents plainly: a HELSE aluminium LED profile, an S14-format polycarbonate cover, four plastic end caps and four metal mounting brackets. What is not in the box matters just as much: the LED strip and the driver are separate purchases. The driver sits outside the profile, so space has to be planned for it in advance. The milky cover — why this one The S14 cover comes in three versions: transparent, frosted and milky. This kit has the milky variant, the most strongly diffusing of the three. Under a milky cover no individual diodes show even close up and at a short distance from the eye — which matters under kitchen cabinets and inside furniture, where the user looks at the profile at a sharp angle. The price is lower output than with a transparent cover. Fitting and limits HELSE mounts surface only — on double-sided tape or on the supplied brackets. The profile is rectangular in section, the light leaves perpendicular, and the manufacturer classifies it as a solution for decorative lighting in furniture and interior finishing, not as general lighting. Sections in this series are not joined into longer runs, so three metres is the maximum unbroken length from one kit; the other length option is 2.02 m.
