Rendl RIVIER LED wall light 59 cm, chrome and opal acrylic, 18 W 3000 K R14488

Name: Rendl RIVIER LED wall light 59 cm, chrome and opal acrylic, 18 W 3000 K R14488
Brand: Rendl light studio

Rendl RIVIER R14488 is a 59 cm linear LED wall light with a cylindrical opal acrylic diffuser. Its chrome-finished base and round end caps contrast with the pale tube. The light source stays behind the diffuser, so the visible design centres on a continuous cylinder rather than an exposed bulb.Allow space for the full 59 cm lengthThe diffuser is 6 cm in diameter and the fitting projects 10.7 cm from the wall. Its base measures 38 × 5 cm and is shorter than the light tube. When planning the installation, allow for the full length of the fitting rather than just the mounting base. Check the projection against nearby furniture as well as the available width of wall. This wall-mounted format provides supplementary lighting in a living room, bedroom, entrance hall or corridor without occupying a tabletop. If choosing it for a child's room, take account of the manufacturer's warning that the diffuser can be damaged easily and select the mounting position accordingly. An included LED source with warm white lightThe integrated LED source is included and uses 18 W. There is no separate bulb to buy or bulb cap to select. A colour temperature of 3000 K gives warm white light, while the stated luminous flux is 1324 lm. Use that output to compare the fitting with other lights in your scheme; illumination on any particular surface also depends on distance and positioning. The manufacturer specifies a source life of up to 25,000 hours.Chrome detailing and installationThe smooth cylinder and straight base suit modern and minimalist interiors. Opal acrylic conceals the LED source, while the reflective chrome components define the ends and support. R14488 is the chrome version, distinct from the black finish offered in the same range. The fitting operates at 230 V and includes its transformer. The installation instructions require a qualified installer, with the power isolated before work begins. Handle the diffuser carefully during installation because it is susceptible to damage.Show more
