NORLYS Chelsea 956CO copper bollard light E27 72 cm

Name: NORLYS Chelsea 956CO copper bollard light E27 72 cm
Brand: NORLYS

CHELSEA 956CO is a NORLYS bollard light in the classic shape of a lantern: a pyramid roof with a finial, four clear panes and curved brackets beneath the body. The lantern is made of copper and the base of black powder-coated aluminium. It stands 72 cm tall and 25 cm wide. Where it can stand and how it is fixed The manufacturer designed it for mounting on the ground, on a wall top, on a platform or on another structure, so it can line a path as well as sit on a gate pier or a brick wall. The base is screwed down through two ø5.5 mm holes spaced 90 mm apart. Two parts come in the box: the lantern (art. 9011) and the base (art. 9020). Other accessories are ordered separately – for fixing into soil that means the concrete-in anchor, index 307. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², and the round-sheathed cable must be 7 to 10.5 mm in diameter. The light can be looped through with up to 2 × 1.5 mm², so several bollards along a path or fence run off one supply line rather than a separate cable each. Which bulb and how much light The bollard has an E27 lampholder for an LED bulb of up to 11 W. No bulb is included, so you choose the colour and brightness yourself: an E27 LED bulb of around 800 lm gives as much light as an old 60 W bulb, and 2700 K is warm, slightly yellow light. The cover of clear, UV-stabilised polycarbonate does not diffuse anything – light leaves on every side and the bulb stays visible through the panes. Its shape therefore becomes part of how the lantern looks. Protection and style IP44 means protection against splashing water from any direction, so the bollard can stand outdoors without a roof over it. It is protection class II, double insulated, and needs no earth conductor. The shape follows English lanterns in the colonial and vintage style: copper frames, a finial roof and ornamental brackets above a black base. The manufacturer names gardens and terraces as its place, and the catalogue also lists it for hotels and restaurants, where lanterns stand on walls by the entrance.Mostra di più
