A driver that disappears into the track The Zambelis 23159 is a 150 W driver for the 48 V magnetic track system. Its distinguishing trait is that it needs neither its own enclosure nor space in a suspended ceiling — it slides straight into the track, exactly like a luminaire. A 1.5 × 3.2 cm section fits the Ultra Slim profile, and the 30.4 cm length is simply a stretch of track that gives out power instead of light. 220–240 V in, a steady 48 V out The driver converts mains voltage of 220–240 V into a safe 48 V DC, which is what the whole magnetic system runs on. That is precisely why the track can be exposed and touchable and why fittings are placed onto it by hand: there is no mains voltage at the contact. The 150 W output is a shared budget for everything hanging on that run — the total wattage of the fittings has to stay below it, and longer runs take further drivers. On-off control, no dimming This is the on-off version: it switches, it does not regulate brightness. The manufacturer presents that as a strength where simplicity matters — no protocol to configure, no dimmer to match, no risk of flicker from an incompatible driver-dimmer pairing. If the project calls for brightness control, you need the dimmable driver variant from the same family; this model cannot be upgraded to it. Which tracks it fits The 23159 is made for Zambelis 48 V magnetic tracks in the Ultra Slim 15 mm and Round versions. Its cross-section is matched to those profiles — it is not a universal 48 V supply for any third-party system, because compatibility is decided not only by voltage but by the geometry of the magnetic contacts. Black finish and installation practice The housing is aluminium in a black matched to the system's tracks — once inserted, the driver reads as a piece of the track rather than as a foreign object. Its position is worth settling at the design stage: ideally where the run is concealed or less exposed anyway, and within easy reach of the 230 V feed. IP20 protection assigns the whole assembly to dry interiors.
