Coletta is a three-head spotlight on a black rectangular bar 45 cm long. Each of the three shades sits on a short arm with a wooden cylinder, and the shade itself combines a black metal mesh at the top with black fabric below. The heads move and are aimed independently of one another. How the light is spread Light leaves mainly through the bottom of the shade, as a narrow beam pointed wherever you turn the head. The perforated upper part lets some of it through sideways, so a lit fitting draws a mesh pattern on the ceiling and wall rather than only a pool of light. Three heads let you split the light between three places — a picture, a shelf and an armchair — or aim them all one way. The manufacturer does not limit the fitting to this size: Coletta also comes as a one, two and four-head version. Which bulbs fit Each head takes an E14 thread, and the manufacturer permits replaceable LED sources only, up to 4 W per point. An ordinary halogen or candle bulb of higher wattage is out, so what matters when buying is not the wattage but the luminous flux in lumens — that is what decides whether three such points are enough. No bulbs are included, so three have to be bought separately. The fitting can be dimmed, but only when the bulbs fitted are themselves dimmable and run on a dimmer. Dimensions and mounting The bar measures 45 cm long and 12 cm wide, and the fitting stands 16 cm off the mounting surface with the shades in place. Compare those three figures with the room left above a worktop or under the ceiling.
