STOCKHOLM 286BL Black E27 outdoor wall lamp - NORLYS

Name: STOCKHOLM 286BL Black E27 outdoor wall lamp - NORLYS
Brand: NORLYS

Stockholm 286BL is an outdoor wall lantern under a wide, round hood, with a clear cylindrical diffuser encircled by horizontal rings. The body is hot-dip galvanised steel powder-coated black (RAL 9005), the diffuser clear PMMA; a silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland keep it sealed. Dimensions and installation The hood is 38.6 cm across and the whole light is 38 cm tall – measurements to compare with the space above a door or beside a window. It screws to the wall by a round 11.5 cm backplate from which the arm extends. It weighs 3.58 kg. The terminals take cable up to 2 × 2.5 mm² with a diameter of 7–10.5 mm. It is a protection class II luminaire, so no earth conductor is needed. On a building corner it mounts on the corner bracket (item 153), sold separately. Bulb and light The lantern has an E27 socket and no bulb is included. It takes a standard A55–A60 bulb and is designed for an LED source of up to 9 W – a wider decorative globe or a long candle bulb will not fit the diffuser. The manufacturer also offers it with a Philips Master LEDbulb 806 lm / 8.5 W / 2700 K, dimmable – the brightness and warm colour it was designed around. You replace the bulb yourself. The clear diffuser does not spread the light, so the bulb itself stays visible, and about a third of the output (ULOR 32.85%) goes upwards, under the hood and onto the wall. Choosing a visible-filament LED or a frosted bulb therefore changes the look of the whole lantern. Durability and style IP54 means protection against dust and splashing water from any direction, which is enough on a house wall. The manufacturer describes the form as Scandinavian: a classic hooded lantern that suits timber cladding, a front entrance, and hotel and restaurant façades.Mostra di più
