ELLE is a small Keter Lighting ceiling lamp with loft ancestry. A short rigid stem rises from a round ceiling rose, carrying a 12 cm metal cylinder whose lower half is replaced by an open wire cage. The bulb therefore stays visible – deliberately so, because the whole effect of this fitting rests on the contrast between the closed matt body, the see-through cage and the warm point of light inside. Build Everything is metal, finished in black – the manufacturer quotes the same shade separately for the frame and for the shade, so the lamp is uniformly black, with no contrasting interior or gilded lampholder. At 26 cm tall and 12 cm wide it has a slim vertical silhouette that does not crowd the ceiling. The rigid stem, rather than a cord, means the lamp does not swing and keeps a fixed, predictable drop. With a bare light source, the bulb's colour temperature and output shape the character of the light more than the fitting does: a warm 2200–2700 K gives an atmospheric amber point, while a cooler, brighter lamp turns ELLE into practical lighting. Where it works An IP20 rating restricts the lamp to dry interiors. Its compact form and single light point suit a hallway, dressing room, narrow corridor, a kitchen above the worktop or a teenager's room – anywhere that calls for one distinct fitting rather than an elaborate lighting scheme.
