Pursuit HPLC column with inner diameter 3 mm, length 150 mm and particle size 5.0 µm. Pursuit PFP (PentaFluoroPhenyl) columns have five fluorines attached to the phenyl group and allow separation by dipole-dipole interactions. If the polarity of the compound of interest is high, separations can be achieved by hydrophobic interactions as with C18 with high pH mobile phases and ion-pairing agents, but this can lead to poor data accuracy and instrument damage.
