Agilent Technologies HPLC Column Microsorb 100-5, C8, 100Å, 5 μm, 4.6 x 250 mm
Microsorb C8 columns separate samples by the same hydrophobic interaction mechanism as C18 columns, but with slightly lower retention. If a sample is too hydrophobic or, conversely, too polar to achieve a good chromatographic result on a C18 column, a C8 column may give better results. Samples such as vitamins, antibiotics and basic drugs generally show better peak symmetry when separated on C8 columns than on C18 columns. This Microsorb column has the inner diameter 4.6 mm, the length 250 mm and the particle size 5.0 µm.Show more
