The beam angle you choose decides the effect: narrow (24–38°) creates six distinct pools on the worktop, wide (100–120°) merges them into even light across the whole surface. Fit six identical lamps — in an arrangement this exposed, colour differences between neighbouring points would show immediately. Warm white at 2700–3000 K works best with gold.
