Asker Pole Pro 5203AL is a 3.5 m NORLYS lighting pole with an integrated LED luminaire. The upright extruded-aluminium profile is 11 cm wide and turns at the top into a horizontal arm reaching out 39 cm, with the lens on its underside. The whole pole is powder-coated light grey, RAL 9006. What light it gives A Philips Fortimo FastFlex LED module running at 19.5 W gives 4000 K light, a neutral white. The Ledil VSM lens produces an IESNA type V distribution: light spreads evenly all round the pole rather than in a narrow strip along a road, which suits squares, car parks and path junctions. Only 1% of the output (ULOR) goes upwards, so the pole sends practically no light into the sky. The luminaire can be dimmed with a trailing-edge (TE) or leading-edge (LE) phase dimmer. NORLYS rates the module for more than 100,000 h at L90B10. The LED module and driver are replaced by a professional service, and a service kit, ZS5202zx0011, is available for the pole. Installation The pole comes in two segments in a 232.5 cm carton, and the pole itself weighs 11 kg. Its 24 cm foot has four holes for M14 studs on a 180 × 180 mm pattern and fits a B 50 foundation. The ground fixing is sold separately: mounting adapter 1259GA, ground anchor 180GA or concrete-in anchor 3091GA. The side area of 0.39 m² sets the wind load when choosing the foundation. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 4 mm² and let the supply continue to the next pole, and the gland takes a round cable 8–12 mm or 10–13.6 mm in diameter. Several poles along a path can therefore run from one circuit. NORLYS reserves installation and service for a suitably qualified person. Build and use IP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, and the optical set itself (module and lens) is IP67. IK10 – resistance to impacts of up to 20 J – is the top grade of that scale. The pole is protection class I, so it must be connected to a protective earth, and its light source is rated energy class D. NORLYS intends it for private grounds and parkland – gardens, parks and the surroundings of hotels and restaurants.
