Bürkle Ice drill, V4A, ID x AD 8 x 10 mm, drilling depth 100mm
Sampler for deep-frozen products in the food and luxury items sector and for semi-solid substances. The very robust hollow drill cuts quickly into the sample material with its sharp sawing crown. A sample cylinder (cross-section sample) can be cut out. The ice drill can be mounted on your standard commercial drilling machine. The core bit drills quickly and easily down to the desired depth in the frozen material. This makes it possible to cut a representative core sample from all layers of the frozen medium without expending any great effort. Drilling core samples can be taken from a drilling depth of up to 100 or 200 mm, depending on the design. The ejector makes it easy to release the sample from the drill head. Made of stainless steel AISI 316, the drill is sterilisable and suitable for use with foods.
