Highclere is a six-arm pendant 55 cm across in an antique brass finish, with six fabric shades in vintage white. The height adjusts from 35 to 174 cm. The gold lining is not a decorative detail The shades are lined inside with gold metallic fabric. That has a concrete optical consequence: light bounced off a gold surface returns warmer than off a white lining. Across six shades the effect compounds – even with a neutral lamp the light below the fitting takes a warmer tone, and the shades themselves glow gold from within. It is a difference invisible in a product photograph with the light off, and it is what determines the character of the lighting over a dining table. Adjustable height: 35–174 cm The fitting hangs on a 1.5 metre antique brass chain with black flex. Shortening the chain sets the overall height anywhere between 35 and 174 cm.
