Endon Carla Cream Fabric Lampshade 36 cm

Name: Endon Carla Cream Fabric Lampshade 36 cm
Brand: Endon

Endon Carla CARLA-14 is a cream box-pleated lampshade made from a cotton-mix fabric. Its tapered profile widens towards the lower edge, with fabric tape finishing both rims. A white polyester lining covers the inside. This is a replacement shade, rather than a complete lamp.Check the lower diameter as well as the heightThe shade measures 36 cm across its lower rim, 18 cm across the top and 23 cm high. The 36 cm size designation therefore describes its widest diameter, not its height. Compare all three measurements with your existing shade and the space around the lamp base before choosing a replacement. The lower rim determines the space occupied over a tabletop; a height measurement alone cannot establish whether the shade will fit.Regular vertical box pleats give Carla a different surface from a plain fabric drum shade. The cream fabric and taped edges offer a traditional finish for a compatible lamp base in a living room or bedroom. The suitability of the complete lamp for its location still depends on the base and light source, not on this shade alone.Fixed fitting with a supplied reducerThe manufacturer specifies a fixed gimbal fitting and includes a shade reducer. Its lamp specification is a GLS bulb with an E27 or B22 cap, rated up to 60 W; a bulb is not included. Check the shade attachment against your own lamp holder before purchase. These two cap references describe compatibility, not a pair of bulbs supplied with the shade.Carla is expressly unsuitable for pendant use. Matching its diameter to an existing hanging lamp does not make it an appropriate replacement for that fitting. The shade itself has no dimming mechanism or fixed light output: those depend on the lamp and bulb selected. Likewise, cream fabric does not specify the colour temperature of the light source.Show more
