Rendl FOCUS 12 DIMM R13883 black 3-circuit LED track spotlight, 12 W, 10–60° zoom

Name: Rendl FOCUS 12 DIMM R13883 black 3-circuit LED track spotlight, 12 W, 10–60° zoom
Brand: Rendl light studio

Rendl FOCUS 12 DIMM R13883 is a black LED spotlight for a three-circuit track, with a cylindrical head and a variable beam angle. This version lets you choose the direction, beam width and one of three white-light colour temperatures. The LED source is integrated into the fitting, so there is no separate bulb to select.Adjust the beam, not just its directionThe zoom mechanism changes the beam angle from 10° to 60°. A narrow setting concentrates light on part of a picture or display, while a wider setting covers a larger area at the same distance. This matters when a track serves objects of different sizes: turning the head changes the target, whereas adjusting the zoom changes how much of that target receives light. The head offers 90° tilt and 350° rotation. Together, these adjustments allow light to be directed away from the fitting's vertical axis. In a living room, dining area or shop, it can provide accents on walls and furnishings. A single spotlight should not, however, be treated as a substitute for calculating the lighting requirements of the whole room.Three whites and TRIAC dimmingA switch on the fitting selects 3000 K, 4000 K or 5000 K. Choose a warmer or cooler white to suit the surface being illuminated without changing the spotlight. These are three distinct settings, not continuously variable colour-temperature control. The manufacturer specifies 12 W and a luminous flux of 780 lm.Brightness control uses TRIAC dimming. Check the LED dimmer's compatibility when planning the controls; the colour-temperature switch does not adjust brightness. Direction, beam width, colour temperature and intensity are separate decisions in the lighting design.Allow space beneath the trackThe body is 15.4 cm long and 5.3 cm in diameter; the manufacturer's drawing shows an assembly height of 22 cm. Allow room for the head to tilt when positioning the track. This is a 230 V three-circuit fitting, not a spotlight for any single-circuit rail. Installation must be carried out by a qualified installer with the power disconnected. The plain black tube supports modern, modernist and minimalist interiors where the visible track forms part of the room's composition.Show more
