Bevio is a three-light Italux ceiling fitting: a chrome ceiling plate, a rigid wavy arm and three white opal glass shades on E27 sockets. Three shades, three directions The arm bends into a gentle S, so the shades sit neither in a row nor at one height. Two face outwards and slightly up, the third faces down — one fitting therefore gives both light bounced off the ceiling and a single point aimed at whatever is beneath it. In practice that is the difference between a lamp that merely brightens a room and one you can read by. A spread of 58 × 42 cm distributes the light over a fair area instead of making one pool. Low, because it is rigid The whole fitting stands 25 cm tall and is mounted on a rigid stem, not on a cord or chain — it does not sway and it cannot be shortened or lengthened. This is the answer for interiors where a proper drop is out of the question: flats with low ceilings, hallways, bedrooms, the space over a table in a standard-height room. The chrome plate and arm reflect their surroundings, so the fitting visually disappears into the ceiling rather than weighing on it. The fitting is dimmable, but only if the bulbs themselves are — the body contains no dimming electronics. The opal glass diffuses enough that no filament shows through, so a bare-filament bulb will not produce a retro effect here. Build and versions The structure is a metal alloy in a chrome finish; the shades are thick white opal glass in a flattened-sphere form. A mirror surface shows fingerprints, so gloves are worth wearing during installation. IP20 means dry rooms — not an unventilated bathroom and not a covered terrace.
