This is one of those parts you remember only on site: a stainless steel spring clip that holds the recessed Zambelis 2084 track in the routed groove of a ceiling. M4 screws are included.How it worksThe plate is bent into a V — pressed into the groove, its arms brace against the walls and the track is pulled up flush with the ceiling face. The maker calls the 2084 system an embedded track without plastering: the rail goes into a finished channel and, once tightened, it is done, with no wet finishing work around it.Preparing the ceilingZambelis' 2084 installation sheet asks for a groove 38–45 mm wide, with a visible slot of 29 mm once installed. The ceiling must have enough structural strength to carry the rail together with its luminaires, and enough depth, because the profile is 56 mm tall. These are conditions to check before routing, not after.How many to orderThis is sold per piece. The number of clips follows the length of the run — Zambelis supplies the 2084 rail in 1, 2 and 3 m sections, in black and white, and the system's installation sheet sets the spacing of the fixing points. It is worth ordering a spare: the clip is cheap, and stopping an installation for want of one is not.MaterialThe clip is made of stainless steel 1.5 mm thick. The part measures 51 × 15 × 34 mm.
