Norlys KOSTER Double Head 1179AL post-top LED luminaire 35 W 3000 K, aluminium RAL 9006

Name: Norlys KOSTER Double Head 1179AL post-top LED luminaire 35 W 3000 K, aluminium RAL 9006
Brand: NORLYS

Norlys KOSTER Double Head 1179AL is a twin-head post-top luminaire, not a complete lantern supplied with a lighting column. Two domed housings joined by a straight crossarm give the fitting its broad, symmetrical outline. This AL version has a powder-coated cast aluminium body in aluminium RAL 9006, with transparent, textured covers made from UV-stabilised polycarbonate.Match the column before choosing the headThe mounting socket is designed for a 60 mm column spigot with an insertion depth of 80 mm. The head itself measures 82.5 cm long, 24.5 cm wide and 22.5 cm high. In particular, 82.5 cm is not the height of a finished garden lantern. Allow for the reach of both shades when deciding where the column and its head will sit.A 3.7 m H05VV-F 3G1 cable provides the electrical connection inside the column, in a suitably selected junction box. Installation requires a qualified electrician. This is a Class I luminaire, so the protective earth connection is part of the installation rather than an optional addition.Warm light from two integrated modulesThe LED modules consume 35 W in total. The complete luminaire delivers 3136 lm at a warm-white colour temperature of 3000 K; that output is not a separate figure for each shade. Its symmetrical distribution points downwards. For paths and surrounding grounds, assess column height and spacing as part of the lighting layout instead of judging coverage from the product photograph. This version is not dimmable. LED light-source replacement is a professional service operation, not a matter of buying conventional replacement bulbs.A restrained finish for outdoor schemesIP65 protection and IK10 impact resistance support outdoor use in gardens, parks and the grounds of hotels or restaurants. Rounded shades and an uncomplicated crossarm give KOSTER a restrained Scandinavian character. The pale aluminium finish identifies this particular variant and should not be confused with the graphite version of the same family.Show more
