Noctis Max 2 in its 150 W version is a floodlight for jobs where sheer quantity of light is what counts: 14,250 lumens from a single fixture measuring 30 × 27 cm and 3.8 cm thick. That is roughly what ten classic 100 W bulbs used to give — except the draw is 150 W rather than a thousand, and the whole thing fits into a flat aluminium plate screwed to a wall. A narrow 85° beam An 85° spread is narrower than in typical general-purpose floodlights, and that is a design decision rather than a saving. A narrower beam means higher axial intensity — 8100 candela — so light that reaches further and hits the chosen surface harder instead of dissipating across the surroundings. For lighting a façade, a driveway gate, a manoeuvring yard or a high-ceilinged hall, that is a better pick than a diffusing fixture; for evenly flooding a yard with light, a worse one. 6000 K colour 6000 K is cool white with a distinctly cold cast. For task and security lighting that works in your favour: it raises contrast, makes shapes easier to read and pairs well with CCTV cameras, which lose image legibility under warm light. IP65 means fully dust-tight and resistant to water jets — the fixture can work on an unsheltered wall, on a pole, in rain and snow. IK08 means resistance to a 5 J impact, that is to accidental contact with a tool, a branch or a stone. Installation The fixture has an adjustable U-shaped mounting bracket for setting the tilt angle after fixing to the substrate — and on a floodlight with an 85° beam, that setting matters more than the mounting position itself.
