AKRA is a small cylindrical aluminium wall light — 10 cm tall on a 5.5 × 6.5 cm footprint, finished in matt black powder coating. Belgian maker Lucide intends it for a driveway, patio or garden path, but the IP54 rating also allows indoor mounting.Light downward only, in a narrow beamThis is the fitting's defining feature: it lights downward only, in a beam of just 24°. Instead of washing a whole façade it draws a narrow, sharply defined band of light on the wall and the path. The manufacturer states it as a benefit outright — looking at the fitting in the evening you are not dazzled, and yet you can see the ground under your feet. Along a drive or a path, a few of these give legible guidance without lighting up anyone's windows.The lightThe integrated LED module draws 6 W and gives 674 lm at 2700 K — warm white, warmer than the usual 3000 K and closer in tone to an old incandescent bulb. Colour rendering is CRI 80. The source is built in and supplied together with the driver, so nothing beyond a switch needs buying after unpacking. Declared life is 50,000 hours and 40,000 switching cycles. The fitting is not dimmable.Durability and installationBody and shade are aluminium with a matt powder coating. The IP54 rating means protection against settling dust and splashing water from any direction — the right level for a façade or a covered walkway.
