Glass columns and kits for low pressure flash chromatography. Suitable for the separation of connections up to the gram scale. These columns are usually filled to a height of approx. 15 cm, the working pressure is 1.5 to 2 bar. The most commonly used sorbent is Kieselgel 60 with a particle size of 40-63 μm, but you can also use other products from our range of LC sorbents as well as our POLYGOPREP silica gels. Particle sizes <25 μm should only be used with very low-viscosity mobile phases, because otherwise the flow rates are very low. These columns should be packed by the user.
