Mantra KITESURF floor lamp 7196

Name: Mantra KITESURF floor lamp 7196
Brand: Mantra

Mantra KITESURF 7196 is a white LED floor lamp combining a tall vertical light line with a small illuminated ring above its base. It has no conventional lampshade: a narrow upright and circular floor plate define its outline. Mantra specifies aluminium, silicone and steel in its construction.A light line with a low circular accentThe straight upright and ring form a restrained geometric composition. The detail photograph shows the illuminated circle immediately above the floor plate, so the visual feature is not confined to the top of the lamp. This arrangement suits modern and minimalist interiors where a vertical lighting element is wanted beside furniture without a broad shade. It can provide supplementary lighting in a living room, bedroom or dining room, with the same role possible in a study, office or hotel room. It does not have an adjustable arm for directing light onto a book or work surface. That distinction matters if you are choosing a dedicated task lamp rather than an additional light within the room.Fixed height and a defined footprintThe lamp stands 152 cm tall and is not height-adjustable. Its base measures 28 cm in diameter. Check that floor area when planning its position, rather than judging the space needed from the slim upright alone. Keep the base and cable clear of walking routes and the swing of doors.A transparent cable measures 1.8 m, so the distance to a socket also needs checking. The instructions show the base being attached and the cable connected to the power supply. An ON/OFF foot switch operates the lamp.Warm-white integrated LEDsNo separate bulb needs to be selected for the integrated light source. The lamp uses 24 W and produces warm-white light at 3000 K, without dimming. Mantra distinguishes 900 lm of luminaire output from 2830 lm at the light source. Use the first figure when comparing complete lamps, rather than adding the two values together. The LED source is described as non-replaceable, an important difference from a floor lamp designed around a conventional replaceable bulb.Show more
