TC agar sticks are ready-to-use culture media for the assessment of airborne microorganisms using RCS® air samplers. Each agar stick is individually packed in a resealable bag and 100% checked with visual controls to ensure maximum safety in critical environments. Tryptone soy agar is filled into a flexible carrier film. Tryptone soy agar (TSA, tryptic soy agar, soy casein peptone agar) is a complex medium for the cultivation and isolation of a wide variety of bacteria, yeasts and molds. The medium contains an additive of neutralizing agents such as lecithin and polysorbate 80. Agar sticks are used to monitor room air and compressed gases with RCS® air samplers.Show more
