Norlys Moss 6702BL outdoor spotlight on a 60.5 cm arm, LED 8.4 W 3000 K 36°, black RAL 9005

Name: Norlys Moss 6702BL outdoor spotlight on a 60.5 cm arm, LED 8.4 W 3000 K 36°, black RAL 9005
Brand: NORLYS

The Moss 6702BL is a Norlys outdoor spotlight on a long arm: a round head with a lens sits near the end of a straight rod that rises from a round base 7 cm in diameter. The arm is 60.5 cm long. The fitting is die-cast aluminium powder-coated black (RAL 9005), and the front of the head is closed by clear safety glass. What is in the set and how it is mountedThe set has two parts: arm 6700 and luminaire 6701. The base is screwed on through three ø6 mm holes spaced at 120° on a 50 mm circle. The head swivels, also in the vertical plane, so the light can be aimed at a chosen stretch of wall or at a shrub. The luminaire comes with a 3 m H05RN-F 3G1 cable already attached, which is connected to the installation in a suitable junction box; junction box 145 is sold separately, as are clamps 6434–6436 and mounting adapter 6729. It is a protection class I luminaire, so it needs a protective earth (PE) conductor. What light it givesThe 8 W integrated LED module is rated at 840 lm, and 687 lm leave the whole fitting, which draws 8.4 W, concentrated in a 36° beam. According to the manufacturer's diagram the pool of light is about 0.74 m across at 1 m and about 2.21 m at 3 m, so the spotlight picks out a single feature rather than lighting the whole garden. 3000 K is a warm white, and colour rendering is CRI 80. The spotlight can be dimmed with a trailing-edge (TE) or leading-edge (LE) phase dimmer.Durability and serviceIP65 allows the spotlight to be mounted outdoors without a cover, and IK06 means the housing withstands an impact of 1 J. Only a professional service may replace the LED module; the manufacturer gives an L70 lifetime of 59,000 hours.Show more
