Nordlux Nestor 49041003 LED-Außenwandleuchte LED LED 8W black

Name: Nordlux Nestor 49041003 LED-Außenwandleuchte LED LED 8W black
Brand: Nordlux

Nordlux Nestor 49041003 is a black outdoor wall light with an open rectangular frame surrounding a pale illuminated panel. The outline suggests a compact wall lantern, but the light comes from an integrated LED rather than an exposed bulb. Aluminium is the main material, with plastic as the secondary material. Nordlux identifies this black finish as RAL 9005.Check the wall space and projectionThe fitting measures 22.1 cm high and 14.7 cm wide, giving you concrete dimensions to compare with a doorway, window or available area of facade. It projects 8.7 cm from the wall. Allow for that projection when checking a door swing or a route that passes close to the mounting position; the photograph alone cannot establish clearance. The rectangular framework remains a visible part of the composition when the light is off. Straight edges and the absence of ornamental detailing support a modern, minimalist or Scandinavian setting. This is a wall-mounted fitting, not a freestanding garden lantern intended to sit on paving.A fixed warm-white LED sourceThe included LED consumes 8 W and provides 550 lumens at 2700 K. That colour temperature means warm-white light rather than a cool-white appearance. The source is non-replaceable, so there is no separate bulb to choose and no alternative bulb colour temperature to fit later. Nestor cannot be dimmed; do not plan its brightness around a conventional wall dimmer.Nordlux states an LED lifetime of 25,000 hours and energy efficiency class E for the light source. The lifetime figure is not a warranty period. This particular Nestor should not be confused with the separate Nestor Sensor model when choosing controls.Outdoor placement and wiringThe fitting is designated for outdoor use and rated IP44. Its wall-mounted format can serve a facade or suitable terrace and balcony walls, but Nordlux specifically marks it as unsuitable for seaside conditions. It operates on 230 V and is Class I, requiring a protective earth connection. Built-in provision for parallel connection allows several fittings to be planned within an installation. Follow the manufacturer's mounting instructions and disconnect the electricity supply before connection work.Show more
