OKO is a round dining table 110.5 cm across and 75 cm high, built around a single idea: keep the wood visible and the structure as light as possible. The top rests on four turned legs set back from the edge, so you can sit at it freely without meeting a corner with your knee. Ash veneer on a stable core The top is MDF board finished with ash wood veneer – the grain runs across the whole surface, and a board core moves less than solid timber as humidity changes in a heated home. The edge of the top and the legs are solid rubberwood, so the rim takes knocks well and the whole piece keeps one consistent warm tone. The finish is natural, with no stain.
