BOSTON is a pendant light with seven light points hung on separate cables of differing lengths. The canopy is a matt black star of three crossed arms, from which slender gold cones descend, each ending in a clear diffuser. Seven cables at different heights – that is the whole idea The shades do not hang in one plane. Each of the seven has its own drop, which makes the piece three-dimensional and puts light at several levels at once. Over a dining table that produces something no single shade can: the top is lit at several points, while the gaps between the cones leave you able to see the person across the table.
