The Italux Monza is a chandelier 70 cm across, built from five brass arms radiating from a central hub. The product code carries the digit 5 — for the number of arms — but there are ten light points: each arm holds two shades, one facing up and one facing down.Why two shades per armThat arrangement gives two kinds of light from one fitting. The downward shades light the table surface; the upward ones bounce light off the ceiling and fill the room with a soft wash. The result is lighting with no dark zone above the chandelier — a common problem with conventional pendants that send all their light down.Materials and scaleArms, hub and ceiling rose are steel in a brass finish. The shades are white glass in a rounded, cup-like shape.
