Three light colours and dimming — two separate functions The name "3CCT DIMM" bundles two things worth keeping apart, because they work in quite different ways. 3CCT is a colour switch built into the fitting: before installation you pick one of three temperatures — 3000 K (warm, for a bedroom), 4000 K (neutral, for a hall or kitchen) or 6500 K (cool, for utility rooms and dressing rooms). That setting is changed physically, at the fitting, not from the wall switch. DIMM means TRIAC dimming, that is control from an ordinary leading-edge dimmer in the switch box. One important caveat: the dimmer is not supplied, and it has to be a model rated for LED loads. An ordinary incandescent dimmer on a 20 W LED fitting usually flickers, or simply will not go below half brightness. A frame rather than a shade LARISA R 22 has a minimalist frame around a milky diffuser rather than a dome or a baffle — which is why the whole fitting stands only 5.8 cm deep at 22 cm across. Over a corridor, in a dressing room or in a low-ceilinged space that proportion matters in practice: the fitting collects no shadow on itself and does not visually press the ceiling down. Pearl gold The frame is finished in pearl gold — a warm, muted tone with a visible sheen, nearer brushed brass than mirror gold. Rendl makes the same model in black (R14441) and white (R14439) as well, so where one flat needs several fittings of differing character, only the code changes. Light output The LED module draws 20 W and delivers 1500 lm — general lighting level for a room of 8–10 m². Colour rendering is CRI 80. The source is integrated: no socket, no lamp to change, and the driver sits inside the fitting, so nothing needs hiding above the ceiling.
