Forked legs that hold the pot The name "Forked Root" describes the construction literally. The stand is four wooden legs, each forking at the top like a root, and the forks cradle the pot and carry it from below. There are no clamps, no straps, no screws visible from outside — the vessel simply slots between the forks and rests on them under its own weight. It looks simple, but it demands the forks fit the taper of the pot precisely. Concrete and solid wood — two materials, two jobs The pot is concrete, the stand solid wood.
