A classic desk lamp on an articulated arm EUFRAT 3194 is a task lamp in its archetypal form: a heavy stepped base, a two-part arm and three knurled joints — at the base, at the elbow and at the shade. They put the light exactly where it is needed: over the page, over the keyboard, on the bookshelf. The shade is dome-shaped, so the output is concentrated downward rather than spilled across the room. Size and reach 450 mm tall on a base 150 mm across, with the arm reaching out to 290 mm. On a desk those are proven proportions: the base takes little of the surface while the arm pushes the light beyond its own footprint, so the fitting does not stand where you want to see. The 2.4 kg weight is an advantage here — with the arm extended, the lamp does not tip. Finish: textured white, but a black cable The manufacturer calls the colour "white texture" — not a smooth lacquer but a coating with a perceptibly slightly rough grain that scatters reflections and shows fingerprints less. Worth knowing up front: the cable is black, not white. On a white desktop that is a deliberate contrast, but anyone expecting a single-colour set will be surprised. There is a switch on the cord, so the lamp is operated without reaching for the socket. Light source — what you need An E27 socket, 230 V, maximum 15 W, no bulb included. That 15 W ceiling is effectively a pointer to LED: an incandescent of that wattage would be far too dim to work by, whereas a modern LED lamp stays under 15 W with a great deal of brightness to spare. Neutral white makes sense for desk work, warm white for reading in the evening. Argon states the energy class as "not applicable", which is correct for a fitting sold without a source: the class belongs to the bulb you choose. Build and intended use Entirely lacquered steel. IP20 — for dry rooms: a desk, a study, a bedroom.
