This is the cover alone — a component of the LED profile system, not a complete fitting and not a strip. A three-metre length of polycarbonate in the L32 section slides into the groove of an aluminium profile and covers the LED strip. Frosted means in between LED Labs makes this cover in three optical versions and the difference decides how the whole installation looks. Clear passes the most light but leaves the individual diodes visible. Milky diffuses hardest and gives a smooth, uniform line at the cost of some output. Frosted — this version — sits between them: it substantially hides the dots while losing less light than full opal. It is usually the right choice where the strip is seen close up but brightness still matters. Fit The cover is the L32 section and fits the HEDE and NORS systems. The section shape is the only criterion here — a cover with a different designation will not enter the groove or will not click home. Check the profile designation before ordering, not just its width. Length and cutting The piece is 3 metres; the same version is also sold in 2.02 m. Polycarbonate cuts with a hacksaw or a scored craft knife — cut to size after the profile is fitted, so the real length is taken into account.
