A module of a linear system, not a single luminaire FLUO is a linear lighting system built from extruded aluminium profile, and this article is one of its modules — a 120.5 cm section. Ideal Lux offers the modules in two lengths, 1200 and 1800 mm, which assemble together into runs of any length, and the manufacturer provides three different arrangements. The aluminium acts as the heatsink — at 27 W over 120 cm it is what sheds the heat and determines the rated 50,000 hours. The LED module is permanently built in; there is no lamp to change.
