VT-31ST is a 30 W V-TAC LED street luminaire made for bracket or pole mounting. The flat, elongated aluminium body in grey doubles as the heatsink – the ribbed upper face carries heat away from the LED module, which is what keeps the light output up across the rated life. A cast mounting bracket with two clamping bolts extends from one end and clamps onto the tip of the bracket arm. Light The optical module is built on SAMSUNG LEDs and delivers 2350 lm from 30 W. At 6500 K the light is cold white, the shade normally used for traffic lighting: it lifts contrast and keeps kerb lines, footways and parking bays legible after dark. The wide 110° distribution spreads light along the route rather than concentrating it in one spot, so a single head covers a stretch of access road or car park. Colour rendering is CRI 80 and the luminaire is not dimmable. Build and durability IP65 means complete dust exclusion and resistance to water jets from any direction – the level a luminaire needs when it works outdoors, unsheltered, all year. The aluminium housing does not corrode and copes with temperature swings, while the grey paint limits solar heat gain on the surface. At 0.8 kg the fitting is light enough for slimmer bracket arms. Where it fits The luminaire is intended for access roads, footpaths, car parks, manoeuvring yards, industrial sites and housing estates. It also works for lighting a long driveway or courtyard – anywhere a decorative lantern is the wrong answer and what is needed is an efficient head with a genuine road distribution.
