Aldex Garda 2 wall light 1099D1, black, E14 + E27, 86 cm

Name: Aldex Garda 2 wall light 1099D1, black, E14 + E27, 86 cm
Brand: Aldex

The Aldex Garda 2 Black 1099D1 is a wall light with two glass globes set asymmetrically along a black metal bar. The shades are different sizes, measuring 14 and 16 cm in diameter. Their milky white surfaces contrast with the matt black structure, while a longer section of the bar remains exposed.Plan a horizontal or vertical arrangementThe manufacturer permits both mounting positions. Horizontally, the fitting measures 86 cm wide, 16 cm high and 18 cm deep. Turned vertically, its long dimension runs up the wall instead. Before choosing a position, compare both the bar length and its projection with the available space, particularly near a doorway or a circulation route. The technical drawing places the electrical connection away from the centre of the overall length, with sections of 34 and 52 cm on either side. The supply point therefore does not mark the centre of the finished composition. Allow for this offset when aligning the light with furniture, a mirror or a wall axis. The connection base measures 7 × 2 cm, and the bar is 3 cm wide. Two shades, two different bulb basesGarda takes one E14 bulb and one E27 bulb rather than two identical lamps. Check both base designations when choosing light sources. Their colour temperature and rated light output depend on the bulbs selected, not on the fitting alone. From the front, the white shades conceal the bulbs themselves and leave the two round forms visible against the dark line.A geometric layer of supplementary lightingThe manufacturer identifies living rooms, dining rooms and halls as settings for use alongside the main lighting. This is an elongated wall composition rather than a small isolated lighting point. Its plain bar, unequal globes and restrained palette support modern, modernist and minimalist interiors. A horizontal arrangement emphasises the width of a chosen wall section; vertical mounting makes use of a narrower, taller area without changing the fixture itself.Show more
