There are several reasons for using wheel spacers. Firstly, the right wheel spacers can perfect the look of the vehicle by creating a flush wheel alignment with the fender edge. Secondly, spacers also provide better and safer road handling by increasing the track width. Furthermore, some aftermarket wheels require the use of wheel spacers. We offer wheel spacers with different mounting systems and thicknesses. In addition to thinner spacers, which are installed with longer wheel bolts or studs as a bolt-through system, we also have versions with a double bolt pattern for use with the original wheel nuts. These wheel spacers are without rim-side centering; therefore, hub guidance of at least the spacer thickness + 5mm at the wheel hub is required! Longer wheel bolts may be required for these bolt-through spacers! These must be obtained separately, specific to the vehicle and wheel type, as conical or spherical seat bolts with correspondingly longer thread and shank lengths. The minimum thread engagement depth for the M14 Porsche wheel bolts must be 7.5 turns (approx. 11mm). Please check whether this is possible with your original wheel bolts! For SCC wheel spacers, TÜV parts certificates and strength certificates can be downloaded/requested directly from the manufacturer, vehicle-specific. Whether a parts certificate or a strength certificate is available depends on the vehicle. Generally, documents are available, so individual approval is always possible.
