BAJIO LE43703 is a flat gold disc 35 cm across, pierced by a vertical sleeve carrying an E27 lampholder. The whole thing hangs on a black cord from a round gold canopy, with a maximum drop of 180 cm.The bulb is visible — and that is deliberate This fitting has no shade. The disc does not enclose the source, it hangs above it: the bulb hangs completely exposed beneath. Worth knowing before buying, because two things follow. First, the bulb is part of the look — a decorative lamp with a visible filament or an opal E27 globe works well here, a cheap LED with visible chips ruins it. Second, the source shines straight into the eye, so the fitting goes high, or over a surface, not at eye level in a walkway.What the disc is for The 35 cm plate has an optical job: it cuts off the light going upward and bounces it back down. The ceiling above the fitting stays dark and the output concentrates on whatever sits below. This is a solution for lighting a table — the manufacturer itself assigns this lamp the "over the table" application.Mind the power limit The socket is E27, but the maximum lamp power is only 12 W. That is a limit set for LED sources — a classic 40 or 60 W incandescent must not go in here, even though it physically fits. In practice this is no restriction: a good 12 W E27 LED today gives around 1000–1200 lumens, more than the old 60-watt bulb did. No bulb is included. The manufacturer confirms it is dimmable, but only with a source rated for dimmer operation.Hanging height The quoted 180 cm is the total drop — ceiling to bottom edge, not the height of the fitting itself. The cord is shortened to the length you need at installation; over a dining table one typically leaves 70–90 cm between the surface and the underside of the lamp. The whole fitting weighs just 1 kg.The rest of the BAJIO family BAJIO is a family rather than a single model.
