Bogard is a slim cylindrical pendant with an integrated LED. The body is finished in matt nickel, the reflector ring sits exposed at the bottom, and the luminaire hangs on a thin cable from a cylindrical canopy in the same finish. How big it is and where it hangs The body is only 5,3 cm across, and the manufacturer gives a length of 140,5 cm — on a pendant that is the whole drop, cable included. Set that figure against the height of your own room: over a table the bottom edge usually ends up 70–80 cm above the top, and the cable left to the ceiling is measured from there. The whole luminaire weighs 0,42 kg. That load is within what an ordinary ceiling hook or a junction box hidden by the canopy will carry; on a plasterboard ceiling the fixing still has to reach the supporting structure. How much light it gives and of what kind The LED is built in and arrives with the luminaire — no lamp to buy, and none that can be swapped either. The manufacturer quotes a life of 30 000 hours, which means that at the end of it the whole fitting is replaced rather than the source. The fitting draws 5 W and gives 472 lm at 3000 K, a warm white. Light leaves in a 40° beam, so it falls as a narrow cone on the surface below instead of spreading through the room — Bogard lights a chosen spot rather than a whole space. A driver is included, and the luminaire connects to an ordinary 230 V installation. What interior it suits The form is modern in the plainest sense: a smooth cylinder with no ornament, one colour, and only the thin cable in view. The manufacturer intends it over a dining table, over a kitchen worktop and island, and for living rooms and bedrooms, as well as hotel and restaurant interiors — wherever a luminaire hangs over one defined surface. The body itself can be visually lengthened with the extensions R12495 and R12496.
