The mugs are handmade and coated with a bright white enamel paint. Due to the manufacturing process, they may differ slightly and there may be small unevenness in the paintwork and black dots on the surface. The mug is dishwasher safe, but for daily use it is recommended that the mug be washed by hand. Designer Lasse Kornum tells: The inspiration for this design came on a beach in Thailand, where it struck me that the only thing resembling wildlife on the beach were the flamingo swimming rings that the tourists were floating around in. I also rescued one of these inflatable birds later in the day from drifting to sea.
