These HPLC columns are made with High Purity Silica that has a narrow particle size distribution, unique bonding and double end capping. The metals content is below 1ppm making these columns very efficient and durable. This very unique phase is used when fast, Reversed Phase HPLC is desired and/or retention of your hydrophobic compounds are too much with C18 and too little with C8. Cogent RP™ C12 is based on Adamantine, which is a diamond-like crystal structure that remains more rigid than traditional long chain alkyl ligands under Reverse Phase conditions. This column is well suited for high speed gradient analysis, where fast re-equilibration is necessary or for resolving complex mixtures.Meer tonen
