The HPC Red Test Kit contains a Red Test Sampler (MHPC10025) and a Swab in Vial with Phosphate Buffer (MMSB10025). This swab kit is a self-contained system that integrates an HPC total viable count sampler with units containing 18 ml of sterile phosphate buffer, into which the swabs are fitted. The system is designed for use in swabbing applications to measure bacterial levels on flat or irregular surfaces. This product can be utilized in a wide variety of applications within food manufacturing, food processing facilities, and other establishments to assess the effectiveness of disinfection measures employed to eliminate microbiological contamination. The buffer units contain neutralizing agents to counteract the negative effects of residual chlorine or quaternary ammonium compounds that may remain on surfaces following disinfection.
